Dr. Kevin L. Jenkins is a pastor with a heart for God and a passion to seek His presence. He believes strongly in motivating the church to seek a greater anointing of the Holy Spirit through the power of prayer. Dr. Jenkins believes that the same acts of God done by the Apostles in the book of Acts can and will happen now if we seek the presence of the risen Christ through prayer and fasting.
Dr. Jenkins was born in Buffalo, NY. He accepted the Lord Jesus-Christ as his personal Savior in 1977 and was baptized in the Seventh-Day Adventist church. He attended Oakwood College where he earned a B.A. Degree in Theology. He also earned a Masters of Divinity degree from the SDA Theological Seminary at Andrews University. He later earned a Doctor of Ministry degree in African American Church Ministries at the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Jenkins and his wife, Marcia, reside in the New York City area. He is the father of two adult daughters.
